Watch the first short film made by the P.L.S.M. Youth Program. The Power, Love, and Sound Mind Youth Program diverts young men from the school-to-prison pipeline and guides them to success through mentorship, group sessions, community service, and group activities like filmmaking, among other experiences geared to motivate and inspire. It is well recognized that urban youth are disengaged from education due to a lack of resources, high crime rates, and a lack of positive male influence as a result of mass incarceration. As a result, young males with low literacy skills are far more likely to be incarcerated or victims of gun violence. The P.L.S.M. Youth Program aims to give male role models, develop career interests and abilities, and educate our young men about their culture, history, and opportunities for success.   "Future Prospects" follows three young men determined to achieve greatness.
